Rockfish season is here. We are fishing the lower Chesapeake Bay and Ocean for Striped Bass aka Rockfish. Frank Bond and friend showed up today to do battle with the cobia and they got a bonus. We caught five cobia and frank got his Fourth virginia saltwater citation a great 53 inch Cobia. Then the lower chesapeake bay offered a suprise like it usualy does with this GIANT 54 inch Red Drum. Don’t forgett about the Virginia striped bass fishing season that runs from oct 4 to march.
